Bharatiya Janata Party is Responsible for Communal Violence: Akhilesh Yadav

Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party government over the Saharanpur violence case. He said that during the last assembly elections, the party which divides Diwali and Ramzan, crematorium and graveyard is responsible for the increase in incidents of violence in the state.

The former CM further said, what can you expect from the BJP? Those who divided the Indian festivals (Diwali and Ramzan), electricity, crematorium and graveyard during the election campaign in Uttar Pradesh, what do we expect from them? This party is responsible for communal violence. Our party went to every affected area. During our government, people were given every kind of facilities.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had transferred 174 officials on Thursday after the clashes and violence between the two communities in Saharanpur. The Home Ministry of India also asked the Uttar Pradesh government to file a report related to the violence in Saharanpur.

Earlier, in order to prevent the violence between the two communities in Saharanpur, the district magistrate Nagendra Prasad Singh was removed. A man was killed in the violence on Tuesday. While many people were seriously injured. BSP supremo Mayawati also reached Saharanpur.

The state government had announced compensation of Rs 15 lakh to the family members of the person killed during the violence. In another incident, on 5 May, there was a clash between Dalits and Rajputs in Shabbirpur and Simlana village. One person died in that. While 16 people were injured, including a head constable.
