The Supreme Court has reserved its order on Thursday (April 6th) on the petition which sought the restoration of allegations of conspiracy against senior BJP leaders including LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi and Uma Bharati in connection with the demolition of Babri Masjid.

The apex court will also decide whether the hearing against VVIP accused can be transferred from a court of Rae Bareli to Lucknow or not.

There are two types of cases related to the demolition of the Babri Masjid on December 6, 1992. The first is connected to the unknown carsevacon in which the hearing is going on in a Lucknow court while the other types of cases are related to VVIP in a court in Rae Bareli.

The bench of Justice P.C. Ghosh and Justice RF Nariman also indicated that they can order hearings from the transfer of Rai Bareli to a court in Lucknow to joint hearings of both the cases.

The bench said that since 25 years have passed, in the interest of justice, he will consider giving orders for hearing in a timely manner so that it is an attempt to complete it within two years.

BJP leader LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, including a dozen leaders including Vinay Katiyar and former Uttar Pradesh CM Kalyan Singh, were removed from the Rae Bareli court by the charges of conspiracy in the Babri Masjid demolition case.

In 2010 Allahabad High Court also accepted the decision of the lower court. After that the CBI had appealed against the order of the court.
