Fighting between Israel and Hamas has resumed after a seven-day ceasefire.

Both Israel and Hamas are blaming each other that because of them the ceasefire could not be extended.

Meanwhile, Hamas' Health Ministry has said that 178 Palestinians have died so far since Israel resumed bombing in Gaza.

Israel also said it had struck 200 "terrorist targets".

A source close to the talks related to extending the ceasefire told the BBC that an agreement to extend the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in Qatar could not be reached.

However, America has said that it is still trying to stop the conflict between the two.

The deaths of six of the Israelis held hostage by Hamas have been confirmed.

The death of Ofra Kidar, 70, who lived in Gaza, has been confirmed on Friday, 1 December 2023.

She was out on a walk on October 7, 2023, when she was taken hostage. She was somehow able to call her family.

Ofra Kidar had told that Hamas people were going to shoot her. Her husband Sami was also shot in their home.

Ofra Kidar's daughter somehow saved her life by hiding. BBC had earlier reported the death of five more Israelis captured by Hamas. These included people ranging from 26 years to 85 years.

No aid has reached Gaza since the temporary ceasefire between Israel and Hamas ended.

This information has been given by the United Nations Relief Agency (UNRWA) working for Palestinian refugees.

UNRWA spokeswoman Juliet Touma told the BBC that she feared a return to the situation that existed weeks ago, where Gaza was under complete blockade and siege.

The Palestinian Red Crescent says trucks loaded with humanitarian aid have been allowed into the Gaza Strip for the first time since the collapse of the temporary ceasefire between Israel and Hamas on Friday, 1 December 2023.

About 50 such trucks have been allowed to enter Gaza from the Rafah border.

Aid agencies still report severe shortages in supplies.

Sources in the Egyptian Security Agency and the Palestinian Red Crescent told news agency Reuters that these trucks will be checked at the Aujja crossing before reaching the Gaza Strip.

Before the war, aid agencies had said that 100 trucks of aid goods would be needed daily to meet the needs of the Gaza population.

193 people killed in Gaza since ceasefire ended: Hamas

The Hamas-controlled health ministry in Gaza says 193 people have been killed there since Israel resumed attacks on Friday, December 1, 2023.

It has been told that since the end of the seven-day ceasefire, 652 people have also been injured.

Emmanuel Macron also said, "It is also important to provide the people of Gaza with the assistance they urgently need."

President Macron said that "Israel should make clear its intention to completely destroy Hamas because this could prolong the war for the next ten years."

Israel orders ceasefire negotiators to return from Qatar

Israel's intelligence agency Mossad has said that Israeli intelligence officers have been ordered to leave Qatar after ceasefire talks reached an impasse.

A statement issued from the Israeli Prime Minister's Office said, "Mossad chief David Barnia has asked his team to return to Israel from Qatar on the instructions of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu."

It said, "The terrorist organization Hamas has not fulfilled its part of the agreement. This also included ensuring the release of all children and women according to a list given to Hamas."

Qatar has been mediating between Hamas and Israel since the war began, most recently playing a key role in a week-long temporary ceasefire, which was extended twice, and in the release of hostages during that period.
