Australian captain Steve Smith has completed his Test career 6,000 runs on the second day of the fifth Test of the Ashes series on the Sydney Cricket Ground on Friday. Along with this, Smith has shared the second place with Sir Garfield Sobers of the West Indies in the list of players to complete 6,000 runs.

Smith has become the second player to complete 6,000 Test runs in the history of cricket. Smith and Sobers completed 6,000 runs in 111 innings. In this list, Australia's legendary Sir Donald Bradman is in first place. He completed 6,000 Test runs in 68 innings.

Along with that Smith became the youngest player in Australia to complete 6,000 Test runs in his career. He overtook former captain Ricky Ponting. Smith has achieved this position before 30 years old.

Explain that Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar had completed his 6,000 Test runs at the age of 26. The second in this list is England's Alistair Cook, who made this feat at the age of 27. Smith scored 5,974 runs in 60 Test matches and scored an unbeaten 44 in the fifth Test in Sydney and he achieved the feat of completing 6,000 runs.

Apart from this, Steve Smith is also showing his fielding skills as well as batting. During the first innings of England, Smith took a brilliant catch from one hand in the over of Mitchell Starc and sent Pavilion to David Malan who had made Half-century. Stark struck the short length of the fourth ball of 89th over, Malan took the bat away from the body and tried to play the ball, but the ball went from the edge to the second slip.

Smith, on the second slip, jumped on the left and caught by one hand. It is worth noting that Smith had left Malan's catch on the first day of the match, but he got it off with this catch. Malan, who was batting well, had to return to the pavilion at 62. After Malan's out, Australian bowlers shuffled England's innings at 346 after sending Moin Ali, Stuart Broad and Mason Crane to the pavilion.
