Now after Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, the Central Government has given an adverse reaction on the announcement of the debt waiver of farmers by the Maharashtra government.
According to the ANI, India's Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has said that the state which wants to waive the debt of the farmers, they have to arrange funds for themselves.
Jaitley said, "States like Maharashtra, who want to forgive the debt of farmers, should raise funds through their resources."
According to Jaitley, the Reserve Bank of India is making a list of debtors whose solution is required by the bankruptcy code.
