Yashwant Sinha, who has been finance minister in the Atal Bihari government, has opened a front against the current Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.

In the article written in the Indian newspaper Indian Express, he said that the country's economy is heading towards the trough. Many people in BJP know this, but will not say something because of fear.

The title of this article is 'I need to speak up now'. He wrote, "If the country's finance minister has spoiled the condition of the economy, if I remain silent then it will be injustice to national duty."

Yashwant has written, "I am also confident that what I am saying is this, BJP and others believe it, but will not say this because of fear."

He has written that Arun Jaitley has been considered as the best in the government. Before the 2014 elections, it was known that he would be the finance minister in the new government. Although he had lost the Lok Sabha elections from Amritsar, this thing could not be stopped by his appointment.

Sinha recalled, "Atal Bihari Vajpayee did not place his close associate Jaswant Singh and Pramod Mahajan in the cabinet in these circumstances."

He said that how important is Jaitley in Modi government, it is known that Jaitley was given four ministries, three of whom still have him.

Sinha has written, "I am a finance minister, so I know how much work is done in the finance ministry alone. How much effort is needed. How many challenges are there? We need a man who only sees the work of the finance ministry. In such a situation, superman like Jaitley could not do the work."

Former finance minister has written that Arun Jaitley was a lucky finance minister in many ways because he got decent conditions, but all was wasted.

He wrote, "What is the condition of the economy today? Private investment is falling. Industrial production is shrinking. Agriculture is in crisis, construction and other service sectors are slowing, exports are in difficult, notes ban proved to be unsuccessful and the GST implemented in the absence dipped many, snatched employment. New opportunities are not visible."

According to Yashwant Sinha, "Growth rate is slowing quarter-on-quarter. The people of the government are saying that this is not because of notes ban. They are telling the truth. It had started from the beginning. Notes ban did the work of ghee in the fire."

The former finance minister has given further technical reasons for slowing down of the economy. It has also said that the Prime Minister is also concerned about this.

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi also did not take a lot of time to target Arun Jaitley. While posting this same article on Twitter, he wrote, "Ladies & Gentlemen, this is your co-pilot and finance minister speaking. Plz fasten your seat belts & take brace position. The wings have fallen off your plane.''

Of course, Yashwant Sinha has spoken a direct attack on Arun Jaitley, so the discussion started on social media. Congress also lent this article to the hand.

P Chidambaram, who was finance minister in the UPA government, after reading this article, tweeted the tweet.

He wrote, "Yashwant Sinha has told the truth to the power. Will the power accept the truth that the economy is submerged? Sinha said, the first truth: the growth rate of 5.7% is actually 3.7% or less. Second truth: Fear of people is the name of the new game."

Senior Congress leader Manish Tewari posting a video said, "Sinha is right that the economy is in trouble. In the lead of Modi, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has drowned the Indian economy. Someone had to tell the emperor what was happening and Yashwant Sinha did just that."
