A second round sero survey in Delhi has shown that women are more victimized by corona virus than men.
The survey revealed that about a third of people had developed antibodies to corona.
Blood samples of more than 15 thousand people were collected for this survey.
The first sero survey was conducted in Delhi in the month of July, in which it was found that 23.48 percent people had developed antibodies.
In Delhi, more than 1.5 lakh people have been infected so far and 4257 people have died.
The second survey was done in early August. According to this survey, 32.2 percent of women have developed antibodies while the number of men is 28 percent.
The reason for this is not known yet. In the survey, it has been found that antibodies have been developed in 29 percent of the people overall.
From this, it can be guessed that thirty percent of the total population of Delhi is two crores, or about 60 lakh people were infected with Corona and they are now cured.
Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain said that Delhi is still far from developing herd immunity.
When many people become immunized by the virus in one place, it is called herd immunity and then the spread of the virus stops.
According to the Health Minister, if 40 to 70 percent of people develop antibodies at some place, then herd immunity develops there.
Similar surveys conducted in Mumbai and Pune have shown that more than 40 percent of people have developed antibodies there. In Pune it has reached 50 percent.
Delhi is one of the most corona-affected cities in India and in the first two weeks of June, there was a huge shortage of beds in hospitals here.
But then since then the condition of hospitals has improved, beds in hospitals have been increased and the number of infected daily is also seen to decrease significantly.
