Condemning the terrorist attack on Amarnath pilgrims, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president Asaduddin Owaisi on Tuesday asked the Modi government that when the intelligence was suspected of an attack on the passengers, then he Why failed to save?
Asaduddin Owaisi told reporters that he strongly condemns the assault because nobody has the right to kill anyone. Owaisi said after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came to power, Amarnath pilgrims were attacked for the second time and demanded that the government should answer that despite the intelligence information of the threat, it will ensure their safety. Why failed? The news related to it came in the media on 26th June.
Owaisi said, "The BJP government at the Center is ruling and its coalition government is also with the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Jammu and Kashmir. The moral responsibility of the government is to make it tell the people why it failed."
He pointed to the interview given by Kashmiri militant Syed Salahuddin to 'The Telegraph', in which he had given the signal of such assault.
Owaisi said, "This is the time when BJP in the center should improve its direction." He alleged that Salahuddin wants to create conditions like 2008 in Kashmir Valley with the help of the Lashkar-e-Tayyba and Pakistani intelligence agency ISI.
While criticizing the people who tried to take political rotis (breads) on the death of innocent devotees, Owaisi said that he should not allow LeT and ISI to create problems. He said that we should keep in mind what China is doing on the border of Sikkim?
Pointing to the arrest of Sandeep Kumar of Uttar Pradesh on contact with Lashkar, Asaduddin Owaisi said that it has raised a very important question.
He criticized Shiv Sena for connecting Amarnath Yatra with Haj pilgrims. Owaisi said that if Shivsena is angry about the terrorist attack then they should take its anger to the government.
