The Jammu and Kashmir Police has submitted the report to the Union Home Ministry regarding the Amarnath attack. It has been said in the report that Amarnath pilgrims were attacked twice on the bus.
Seven people were killed and 30 people were injured in the terror attack during the Amarnath Yatra on Monday (July 10th) in Jammu Kashmir. More people killed were from Gujarat.
The attack took place at around 8.00 pm on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway in Anantnag district.
It is being said that the terrorists wanted to target the bunker, but just bus came in the middle.
It is also said that the bus was not registered and it was moving ahead without security.
Union Minister of State for Home Hansraj Ahir will go to Jammu and Kashmir. After terrorist attack, security has been tightened in Anantnag.
Cabinet and security meeting is going on under the chairmanship of Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.
In India, German ambassador Martin said, ''Strongly condemned the terror attack on Amarnath Yatra in Jammu and Kashmir occurred yesterday. My feelings for the families of the victims."
Security has been increased at the Allahabad railway station in Uttar Pradesh after the Amarnath attack.
The Chief Minister of Gujarat praised the driver Salim and said that Salim's name will be sent for gallantry prize. Apart from this, compensation of Rs 10 lakh was announced for the victims of Gujarat.
The driver of the bus, Salim said, ''Allah had given me such a capacity that i continued to operate continuously. Continuous firing occurred. I have not stopped therefore. Just keep running."
Army Chief Bipin Rawat arrived in Srinagar. He has come to take more check after terror attack.
In Surat, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani met the people injured in the Amarnath yatra attack. More people killed in the attack were from Gujarat.
