Air India's server system failure in India has delayed Air India's 23 flights on the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi.

A spokesperson of the airline told that on Saturday, after the technical disturbances in the check-in software, there were delays of about two dozen flights of Air India on all networks including IGI Airport.

Due to poor software, 23 flights were affected during departure and flights flew late for 15-30 minutes.

The spokesperson said that this disturbance related to the software remained from 1 am to 2.30 am. During this time, check-in and other services were handled manually.

Significantly, Air India's software is managed by SITA, which is the head of global airlines IT Services Solutions and offers check-in, boarding and baggage tracking technology.
