Uttar Pradesh's Yogi Aditya Nath Government presented its first budget on July 11. Before the election, BJP had promised in its manifesto that it would also distribute the Laptop to the students, but there was no mention of laptop in the budget presented by state Finance Minister Rajesh Agarwal.
The Yogi government is facing severe criticism for cutting the amount allocated on secondary education in the budget. Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi has targeted the Yogi Aditya Nath on this issue.
Rahul Gandhi tweeted a news story of Business Standard on Twitter: "Is a lot of good initiative, CM Yogi - shut down all the hospitals, this will save you more money." Actually, Rahul Gandhi has criticized Yogi Aditya Nath by this tweeting.
Tell that during the tenure of the Akhilesh Government, 9,990 crore rupees were allocated for secondary education in the financial year 2016-17. At the same time Yogi Aditya Nath Government allocated Rs 9,414 crore in this financial year. I.e. a reduction of Rs 576 crore.
