714 Indians, including Modi's ministers, MPs, Bollywood celebrities, in Paradise Papers

The Paradise papers leaked on the lines of the Panama Paper include the names of 714 Indians, including the ministers of Modi Government, BJP and non-BJP MPs, Bollywood celebrities.

Union Minister Jayant Sinha, BJP's MP RK Sinha from Bihar, former Union minister and Congress MP Veerappa Moily, P Chidambaram's son Karti Chidambaram, Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt's wife Manyata Dutt names are in this document.

The data of paradise paper contains the names of 180 countries. Of these, India's position is 19th. The total number of 714 people in India is in the list of Paradise papers.

This has been disclosed by paradise documents issued by the US-based International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ). The same organization had disclosed Panama documents last year, which created a storm in the politics of the world. The Indian Express is a member of the ICIA and has examined all documents related to India.

Congress spokesman Randeep Singh Surjewala demanded resignation of Union Minister Jayant Sinha and said that his party welcomes every kind of investigation.

Sanjay Dutt's wife Manyata Dutt (Dilnashin Sanjay Dutt) is also named in Paradise Papers. Recognition came before the marriage of Sanjay Dutt and came in the light of an item song from Prakash Jha's Gangajal (2003). She is a member of the Board of Sanjay Dutt Productions Pvt. Ltd. Apart from her husband's company, there are several other companies on board which include Diqssh Energy, Sparkmatics Energy Private Limited, Diqssh Reality Private Limited, Brick By Brick Realities Pvt. Ltd., DuTo Commodities Pvt Ltd, Diqssh International Private Limited, Seventy MM Movies Pvt. Ltd. and Transparency Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. etc.

On the name of Paradise Papers, the BJP's Rajya Sabha MP from Bihar, Ravindra Kishore Sinha has written and responded that is his silence fast.

When the reporter of the news agency ANI wanted to know the reaction from them, Sinha asked for a pen with gestures and wrote on the paper, "is silence fast in the Bhagavat Yagna of seven days."

BJP's Rajya Sabha MP Ravindra Kishore Sinha is also named after Paradise Paper leaked on the lines of the Panama Paper. Sinha has been elected Rajya Sabha MP from Bihar in 2014. He is one of the richest MPs in the Upper House of Parliament. Sinha is a former journalist who has established a Private Security Service firm named Security and Intelligence Services (SIS).

Film actor Amitabh Bachchan became a shareholder of Bermuda's digital media company after the first edition of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' (KBC) 2000-02. Prior to launching the Liberalized Remittance Scheme of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in 2004, all Indians had to give information about the investments made abroad. It is not clear whether Amitabh Bachchan gave this information to the RBI or not.

The German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung receives around 14 million documents related to the corporate registrations conducted in 19 tax heaven countries, Bermuda's company Applebie and Singapore's Asiacity Trust. The German newspaper shared this document with the International Consistory of Investigative Journalist (ICIA).

The documents of Paradise Paper have revealed that US Commerce Minister Wilbur Ross has business relations with the company associated with Vladimir Putin, President of Russia's associates, while the Queen of Britain Elizabeth II invested in overseas tax-saving places.

It has also been disclosed in the document that funding for Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and senior adviser Stephen Bronfman, together with former Senator Leo Colber, has invested about $ 60 million in overseas tax holidays.
