Although there is a lot of controversy in many places, the agreement comes after the mediator of the police, then the groom agrees to bring the bride home. The police sees these cases as social evils and problems more than criminal cases. This is the reason why the first kidnapping cases are recorded in the police stations, but later the case is closed after the agreement between the bride and groom is done.
