DMK's caretaker president M K Stalin called the court's decision to acquittal his party leaders, A Raja and Kanimozhi in the 2G spectrum case as historic. Expressing happiness over the acquittal of all the accused, including his sister Kanimozhi and former Telecom Minister A Raja, Stalin alleged that it was a thought-provoking plan to insult and to finish a political party (DMK).
After the decision to acquit all the 19 accused in this case, Stalin said in a dialogue to the reporters, "Historical decree has been given."
Recalling the trial filed in the year 2009, he said that it was a plan to insult the party and to finish the party's name (DMK) from the political history of the country.
He said, "It is a matter of happiness that all the people have been acquitted."
After the court verdict, Stalin shared the sweets. DMK workers celebrate outside the residence of Kanimozhi in CIT colony.
