230 train tickets started selling in India: Ministry of Railways

In India, the Ministry of Railways has said that booking of tickets for all categories has started in 230 trains connecting different parts of the country.

These tickets can be purchased online and from railway reservation counters. According to the Railway Ministry, 13 lakh passengers booked tickets on Thursday.

Earlier, Ministry of Railways has opened reservation counters at all stations across the country.

Ministry of Railways tweeted, "Indian Railways today opened their reservation counters at various stations across the country.

Reservation facility is also available through Common Service Center (CSC), Post Office Reservation Counter, Yatri Ticket Suvidha Kendra (YTSK) and authorized agents of IRCTC. ''

Reservation in special trains will now be possible 30 days ago

In India, 15 pairs of special trains running during lockdown can now be reservation 30 days in advance instead of 7 days.

Indian Railways has informed that the booking for the trains running on 31 May and onwards will start from 24 May.

Special trains are running between different cities of India from May 12.

These trains will not have immediate booking.

RAC and waiting list tickets will be issued. But waiting list passengers will not be able to board trains.

The first chart of the train will be ready four hours before the departure of the train and two hours before the second chart. The last chart was first made half an hour before the train left.

Booking of tickets can be done online as well as through the post office, Yatri Suvidha Kendra and official agents.
